Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 10/10/2025

At Quince Traditions (“Site,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), your privacy is very important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit our website, leave comments, download freebies, subscribe to our newsletter, or purchase digital products.

Who We Are

Our website address is: http://quincetraditions.com.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following information when you use our site:

Personal Information (you provide directly):

  • Name, email address, and any other details you provide when signing up for our newsletter, downloading freebies, or contacting us.

  • Billing information (such as name, address, payment details) when you purchase digital products through our shop.

Non-Personal Information (collected automatically):

  • Browser type, device details, IP address, and browsing activity through cookies and analytics tools.

  • Aggregated data about how visitors use our site (e.g., most viewed blog posts, downloads, clicks).

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string (also called a hash) created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the site can download and extract location data from images.

Cookies

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Remember your preferences and cart items.

  • Improve loading speed and performance.

  • Track analytics (which pages are most popular, how visitors find us, etc.).

In addition:

  • If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to saving your name, email, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience and last for one year.

  • If you visit our login page, we set a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies. It is discarded when you close your browser.

  • When you log in, we set cookies to save login details and screen display choices. Login cookies last two days; screen options cookies last a year. If you select “Remember Me,” login will persist two weeks. Logging out removes login cookies.

  • If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie is saved in your browser with the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after one day.

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Articles and blog posts on this site may include embedded content (e.g., YouTube videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content behaves the same way as if you visited the other website directly.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that content (including tracking if you have an account and are logged in to that site). We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell or rent your personal information. However, we may share your information with trusted third parties to help us operate our site and fulfill services:

  • WooCommerce & Payment Processors (e.g., PayPal, Stripe) to process secure transactions.

  • MailerLite/Sender (email provider) to deliver newsletters and freebies, if you opt in.

  • Analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics) to help us understand site performance.

  • If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How Long We Retain Your Data

  • If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in moderation.

  • For users who register on our website (if any), we store the personal information provided in their user profile. Users can see, edit, or delete their information at any time (except username). Administrators can also see and edit this information.

  • Order and billing records are kept as long as legally required for tax and accounting purposes.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have an account, have left comments, or made a purchase, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you. You can also request that we erase your personal data, except data we must keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

You can also unsubscribe from our emails anytime by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any newsletter.

To exercise these rights, please contact us at: hola@quincetraditions.com
